Aubrie Sellers is one of those artists that can floor you in person and still can hold the same impact as listening to a record. Dripping with an LA vibe, this Texas-Nashville citizen still carries her unique brand of "garage country" in her latest album. But throw in now the sounds and influences of The Beach Boys, Dick Dale, The Ventures, and even the music from Quentin Tarantino movies. Far From Home was released in February, just as COVID-19 started taking precedent in the media and tours were canceling all over the US. What's the next thing to do in an album cycle during a global pandemic? We go through the woes of record label deals, and that age-old thing of, "We don't know what to do with you..." that record labels still love to say.
